Fun Fold Closure

caught my eye.  I don't tend to make "complicated" folding cards,
but like cards with interesting closures.  I also like this fold
because it is easy, yet very attractive.
For some reason, I felt that the Handpicked Framelits Dies
would be a great closure option.
I used several sets for this card, including From the Garden,
Kinda Eclectic and Butterfly Basics (cause I needed a couple
different small butterflies).
I sponged the SAB Irresistibly Yours Specialty DSP with
Hello Honey and Tangelo Twist.  The Candy Dot bases were used to fasten the Tangelo Twist piece and inside closure.

More Lovely Amazing You

Yikes, this week got away from me.  I was looking at
a card layout in a recent SU Demo magazine and ended
up with this card.  It features the Confetti Celebration DSP
and the Lovely Amazing You photopolymer set (again!)
I used the Brushed Silver card stock as an accent strip,
because I really like the texture of that card stock.
Hope that you had a great week.

For Being You

Given the discontinuation of the Blendabilities Markers,
SU has added some new products.  The set For Being You
(#139120) is a new set that you can earn for free,
with a $50 SU merchandise purchase.
I colored this image with an aqua painter and inks.
The Heart Border Punch is backed by the Birthday
Bash Designer Washi Sheets (p 11 in the Occasions Mini).

Birthday Step Card

For the recent Watercooler Blog Hop,  I demonstrated a
simple step card.  This is another example of that same step card.

This is a masculine card, featuring the Big News set on p 68,
and Just Sayin' on page 109.  It's a pretty quick card,
that is a little different from "the usual".

WCC-20 Sketch Challenge

http://watercoolerchallenges.blogspot.ca/
We've got another Watercooler Challenge lined up for you!
This one is a great Sketch Challenge from Buffy!
This sketch allows for lots of opportunity for creativity.
Thank you Buffy!
I've been on a binge with this new Lovely Amazing You
Photopolymer set.  The font is a great size, the style
works for male or female cards and the sentiments are perfect.
The other bonus is that is lends itself to either Clean and Simple
(CAS) or Vintage card styles.  I've featured this set on
several posts, which were more CAS.  This is my first that
leans a bit towards Vintage.  The Typeset DSP seems
to push it in that direction.
