Stamp Off This Little Piggy Sketch

Thank you for coming by to see what Susan, Buffy and I
are up to.  We look forward to our every other Friday
Stamp Off challenges, and this week is no exception!
I like sketch challenges and this one is fun because there
is an obvious focal point.  I appreciate obvious, because
it points me in a solid direction for creating.
And what better focal point, than This Little Piggy, found
on page 48!!  There is nothing better than looking at a card,
and discover this little face looking back.
The rest of this card is accessories, to coordinate with Miss Piggy.
I selected a Delicate White Doily, found on page 194,
and some 5/8" Burlap Ribbon (page 198).   I love using
the Garden Trellis Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
with Miss Piggy,  because I think that it coordinates
with her curly tail.  Probably only in my mind!
I hope that you enjoyed our sketch.  Please hop on
over to see what Buffy and Susan have done with it!

Spooky Cat with Cat Punch

The new Stampin' Up! Holiday catalog covers more than
Christmas!   This cute card was created with the Spooky
Cat set on page 53.  This cat coordinates with the Cat
Punch, making it really easy to create a Halloween
or pet related card.   The Decorative Ribbon Border
punch (on page 206 of annual catalog) was used to
create the edge on the white card layer.

If you want to check out another Holiday catalog offering,
here's a video for you!

Merry Little Labels in Berry Burst

Yippee Skippee, the Stampin' Up! Holiday catalog is live!
It is 55 pages packed full of great products and bundles.
I've been making samples and showing great restraints,
resisting my urge to post things "early".

This is another card that I made while stamping with
friends Mary and Jo.  We love getting together to inspire
one another.  This project uses the Merry Little Labels
set on page 12 of the Holiday Catalog.  It coordinates
with the Everyday Label Punch on the same page.

The background layer was run through the Big Shot
with the Quilt Top Textured Impressions Embossing
folder on page 5 of the new catalog.  It is easy to miss
in the lower right corner.

I don't think I have to ask if you noticed that Foil
Snowflake.  They are located on page 37 of the new
Holiday catalog and I highly recommend them.
The are incredibly reasonable in price,  and have both
Gold and Silver in a package of 24.   DELIGHTFUL!
