Beautiful Day with Brusho Crystal Colors

It's hard to think about creating a card, without the mind
wandering towards the Brusho Crystal Colours (p 26
of the Occasions catalog).  They are yummy.

In this example, I used the combo shown on page 26,
pairing the Beautiful Day set with the Brusho Colours.
All you have to do is clear emboss the butterfly on to
watercolor paper, sprinkle the Brusho and spritz.
You can let the color run, mop it up or add more,
until you get the look that you like.
It's a bit like cooking, keep adding the salt or
other spices until it tastes good!

Waterfront Behind Wood Textures

The Waterfront photopolymer set on page 48 is
absolutely one of my favorites.  If you spend any time
looking at internet samples, you'll note that this is a
VERY popular set, with lots of ideas shown.
You can also use several techniques with this set,
including water painting (with aqua painter or paint brush)
over the images to create a more watercolor look.
It is also a very easy set to work with, building
combinations of images and colors.  If you are a camper
or traveler, you can recreate scenes from those experiences.

In this example, I created an oval in the Wood Textures
DSP (LOVE!) and mounted the scene behind it.  I wanted to
make it look like a picture that you might hang on the wall,
with a large wood frame.
The sentiment was created with the FREE SAB
Celebrate You Thinlits Dies.

SAB You are simply amazing

The fun part about the new year is new rubber,
including the Occasions catalog and SAB
(Sale-A-Bration) time.  That provides serious
rationalization for picking up a couple of new products.

On of my fav SAB items is the Amazing You set (p 16)
with coordinating Celebrate You Thinlits Dies.
They interweave so well, that they really get your
creative juices flowing.

You'll notice that I also added a layer of the
Petal Passion DSP on page 23 of the Occasions catalog.
This black and white DSP just perks things up
and coordinates perfectly with any color combination.
